Former Falkirk Fury and Scotland Internationalist, Fraser Malcolm, has been plying his trade stateside for the past few seasons. NCAA III school, Black Hill State has been home to the Scottish Guard and has been pivotal in his development to secure himself a place in the 2018 Commonwealth games squad.
With BHS playing in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, they currently have a 17-10 record.
On Tuesday, Malcom was named into the All-RMAC First team, along with his team mate, Tyler Oliver being named into the All-RMAC second team.
Malcolm leads the Yellow Jackets in scoring, putting up 16.0 ppg, which is also eighth in the league. During the season, the senior eclipsed both the 1,000 points and the 500 rebound marks. He finished his career with 1,260 total points and 554 total rebounds. He was named RMAC Offensive Player of the Week on January 28. Malcolm was a member of the All-RMAC Second Team last year, and was Honorable Mention following his sophomore year.
The Yellow Jackets finished the regular season in fourth place in the RMAC, earning their first ever home RMAC playoff game, and making the tournament for the second consecutive year. BHSU will host Colorado Mesa on March 5 in the RMAC Quarterfinals.
